lots o' teeth

Haley had a few accidents yesterday. Yesterday morning she flipped off the couch, head-first. She didn't cry long, and she just had a little carpet burn mark above her eye. It's mostly gone today. Then later we were in the laundry room, and I went to the kitchen. Normally she follows me, but she lagged behind a few minutes. Then I heard the crash... She pulled the ironing board down on her. It was folded and propped against the wall behind the door. Of course now it's moved so she can't get to it. She cried for a bit, and her lip bled where her top teeth bit into it a little. It puffed for a while, but it's fine today. She was fine after chewing on a frozen teether for a while. Then last night she slipped on something in the kitchen and fell back on her head. Poor baby... That didn't leave a mark at all.

When I checked her mouth after biting her lip, I found out that she has another tooth poking through her gums! It's further back in her mouth, so I had no idea this one was even coming up. The same one is close to popping through on the other side. Her teeth seem to be coming in a weird order. I found this chart...



She has the 2 central incisors on top and the 2 on bottom. She has the lateral incisor on the right side on the top, and the same on the right side on the bottom. The top left lateral incisor is working its way down, but I don't see an obvious sign of the bottom left lateral incisor. The tooth in the back (on the right) that's poking through is either the cuspid or the first molar. The same tooth on the left will pop through the gums soon. I assume they're supposed to come in from the central incisors out, but I guess she'll get them all eventually.

She still doesn't talk. She babbles with more consonants, but she's not making words yet. I'm not worried though, because she understands a LOT and she communicates well.
